Our Manufacturing Capabilities
Sharpex has been committed towards innovation since its beginning as India’s first chainsaw maker and has strategically evolved its manufacturing operations over the years. Today, Sharpex operates a world-class forest tools and equipment manufacturing unit at G.I.D.C Odhav Industrial Estate in Ahmedabad.
Spread over an area of more than 50,000 sq. ft., the manufacturing facility is equipped with modern machinery and boasts of dedicated R&D, production, testing, quality control and warehousing departments for achieving 100% efficiency in production operations.

The tale of Sharpex rising to the Market Leader stature has several interesting chapters that make everyone at our organization proud and committed. From humble beginnings in the year 1975 to present times, we have managed to astound the industry with innovation and quality.
The company started with the introduction of electric two-man chainsaw that phenomenally improved the wood log cross-cutting process in sawmills. We were the first in India to introduce electric chainsaw products that visibly reduced the time and effort required to cut down an entire wood log from 45 minutes to 15-25 seconds.
Closely monitoring the market pulse over the years has helped us stay relevant and valuable for the end-customers. Over the years, we have successfully managed to cater to the B2B industry before venturing into the B2C segment with zero-maintenance electric lawn mowers and gardening products like wood chipper, green waste shredder, tree pruner, hand tools and other gardening products that makes the entire gardening activity easy and delightful.
